OUR HISTORY
SDS Entertainment was founded in October 2017 by Sam Smith, who decided to branch out and start her own entertainment company offering DJ and karaoke nights. With a solid background as an established host, Sam brought several regular gigs with her, and the demand for her services continued to grow rapidly.
In October 2018, just one year later, Sam expanded the team by training DJ Ginge, transforming SDS Entertainment from a one-woman operation into a dynamic duo. The increasing number of gigs prompted further growth, and in July 2019, we welcomed DJ Madhatter Sam, a local female host, to our ever-growing team.
For the next three years, including the challenging period of the Covid-19 pandemic, our team remained dedicated to entertaining our regulars with virtual gigs. Our commitment to providing exceptional entertainment never wavered. In August 2022, we expanded our team once more by training DJ Lil Mich, who has since become an invaluable addition to SDS Entertainment.
DJ PEN
DJ Pen's musical journey began as a singer in several bands before she discovered her passion for hosting karaoke and DJing in 2013. After four years working with another agency, DJ Pen's ambition and love for music led her to branch out on her own and establish SDS Entertainment in 2017.
DJ Pen has a deep appreciation for a wide variety of music and is always on the lookout for the latest hits to keep the energy high at every event. Nothing pleases her more than seeing the crowd sing along and revel in the music she plays. Her diverse experience spans tiny country pubs, metal club nights, awards ceremonies, and massive corporate parties in London, showcasing her versatility and ability to adapt to any audience.
As the founder of SDS Entertainment, DJ Pen is dedicated to creating unforgettable entertainment experiences. Known for her lively personality and keen sense of fun, she always brings the perfect vibe to every event. Whether it's a small gathering or a large-scale celebration, Pen's goal is to ensure that everyone has an amazing time and leaves with lasting memories.
DJ GINGE
DJ Ginge, the ultimate karaoke host and raver extraordinaire, has been rocking the mic for an incredible 6 years. Her passion for music shines through every performance, whether it's leading a lively karaoke session or hitting the dance floor with her fellow ravers.
With her infectious energy and love for singing, DJ Ginge knows how to create an electrifying atmosphere that keeps the party going all night long. Her vibrant personality, high level of emotional intelligence, and knack for clear communication makes her a true crowd favorite.

DJ MADHATTER SAM
Started her DJ'ing career at the tender age of 14 thanks to a Youth Club training course, making her debut in Leicester Square in London, she has also been singing since childhood as a soloist with bands and as an upper Soprano with Rock Choir.
Since then, she has made a name for herself as a presenter at the BBC and Local Radio and performing on stage and screen. She has worked at venues both as a singer and DJ across the South of England for events such as music festivals, street parties, Masonic Ladies Festivals, weddings, birthdays, holiday parks and for the Armed Forces, and has even performed with '70's chart toppers Heatwave.
Her music knowledge is encyclopaedic, and she always makes the effort to work with the organisers to ensure the event is a complete success.
She's a fun loving performer whose passion shines through and you'll often catch her dancing and singing along from behind the decks - or even dancing around the handbags in the middle of the floor, hence her moniker - the Madhatter always brings that fun element to your event!
DJ LIL MICH
DJ Lil Mich, also known as Michelle, is a dynamic DJ and singer with a background in dance training. Michelle brings an infectious energy to every event she hosts, ensuring a fun and memorable experience for all. Known for her ability to read the crowd and tailor her music selections to suit everyone in the room, she truly loves her job.
